Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cut-off time for booking a mail collection?

Bookings must be placed before 12:00 noon for next-day collection. Collections run Monday to Friday. Weekend and bank holiday collections are not currently available.

Do I need to be home for the collection?

Yes — a Twyft driver will collect from your door and will need to scan your QR code to confirm the collection. If you cannot be home, please arrange for someone else to hand over the item.

Can I send items to addresses outside the UK?

Currently our mail service covers UK delivery only via Royal Mail injection through Whistl. For international parcels, please see our international parcel delivery service.

What items are prohibited?

All items must comply with Royal Mail prohibited and restricted items guidelines. This includes no liquids, batteries, sharp objects, or hazardous materials. See our Prohibited Items policy for the full list.

How is this different from posting at a post box?

Twyft collects from your door — no trip to a post box or post office required. This is especially useful for businesses sending regular volumes of mail, or anyone who finds it difficult to get to a posting point.

Is this service available for businesses?

Yes. Businesses can set up a scheduled collection profile for regular mail volumes. Contact us or visit our Business page to find out about business accounts and volume pricing.
